In most businesses there is a position which involves a middle man for operations. This is someone who will go between different departments because they are able to speak freely and without emotion about the logistics of the overall plan. You will go through a decent amount of training so that you will understand the general overview of what each department is responsible for in a project. You will use this knowledge to be able to act as a liaison between different departments. This is made possible because you will be able to speak to them in a language that they can understand. You will also help all parties to see how a coordinated effort is better for the whole.
