Keeping a schedule in the United States Air Force can be a huge challenge. This is because the Air Force is expected to make sure that not only the aircraft but troops and vehicles will be able to ship out to where they need to go when they need to go there. Because there are so many flights and so much going on at once, it is always a good idea to have one person in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly. This is the job of the Traffic Management Apprentice in the US Air Force.
Schedules and Maintenance
In order to keep a schedule, there first needs to be a schedule. This includes making sure that the aircraft are scheduled for take-off and landing times. It also means making sure that the aircraft which is necessary to make the flights possible are in the right place to be loaded or for the pilots to man the helm. You will make requisitions for aircraft and to get maintenance performed in a timely manner so that you will be able to maintain the schedule.
The training you will be paid to receive in the US Air Force will help you to have a very rewarding career in the US Air Force. You will also have the ability to take this training to get a job in the civilian world working for major airlines, shipping companies or airports.
